How can I reduce MSG in my snack seasoning?

Disodium succinate boosts umami when blended with other savoury ingredients, so manufacturers can lower the level of MSG and I+G. Typical use in puffed food is 0.40–1.00%. Ask us for a sample to test in your recipe.

What is ethyl maltol used for?

Ethyl maltol enhances sweet, caramel or fruity aroma in biscuits, bakery, candy, ice cream, sauces and pickles at about 0.01–0.05%. It can also mask unpleasant notes in concentrated meat products and seasonings.
